AI-Powered Campaign Content Planning

Overview

This project focused on transforming a manual social-media campaign planning process into a fully automated, AI-powered workflow. The original approach required marketing staff to manually brainstorm ideas, write captions, create posting schedules, and notify the team across multiple tools. This fragmented process was time-consuming, inconsistent, and prone to missed deadlines and version-control issues during campaign launches.

Solution

Using ChatGPT for creative generation and Zapier Agents for automation, I designed a workflow that automatically:

  • Detects new campaign briefs added to Google Sheets

  • Summarizes campaign details such as objectives, target audience, and timelines

  • Generates social-media post ideas, captions, and short video concepts

  • Creates structured content schedules in Google Sheets and formatted campaign plans in Google Docs

  • Adds publish dates to Google Calendar and notifies the team in Slack

Outcome

The automation unified the planning process, eliminated repetitive coordination, and provided a single source of truth across tools. The workflow improved creative consistency, reduced turnaround time, and ensured every campaign launched with a ready-to-use, data-driven content plan. This project demonstrated how generative AI can enhance creativity and collaboration while delivering scalable, operational efficiency.
